Minutes

The April HOG meeting for the Western Iowa Carroll Chapter was held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Carroll Cycle Center. There were 15 members present. The treasurer’s report was read and accepted with $395.47 in the account.  Last month’s minutes were read and accepted.  Old Business:  Walt brought an Iowa Events Booklet, brochures & travel guides for members to look at to pick an activity for their assigned month.  Walt & Glenda thanked the Chapter & the Cycle Center for their contribution for their Primary Officer Training in Arkansas in March.   New Business:  Terry will be putting the newsletter on the Carroll Cycle Center website each month.  www.carrollcycle.com Reminder that the April activity is a safari, meet at the Cycle Center on the 24^th,  transportation provided and departing at 4pm.  Meeting was adjourned.  50-50 drawing winner was Bob Linde.  Gift Certificate winner was Bonnie Snyder.

Carroll Cycle Center

The cycle center is open until 8 on Thursdays and until 4 on Saturdays.

The Cycle Center has a new look in the front. Make sure to stop by and enjoy the gazebo and take your picture with your bike under the sign.

The Cycle Center Staff would like the help from the chapter for a fundraiser. We might have a food drive at Rock N Ride.  “Stuff the Saddle Bags”

There are 6 members interested in the Labor Day Ride to Milwaukee.  If you are interested you need to let Terry know asap. 

There is a new driver’s training course as of May 1.

If you made it to the Safari on April 24^th it was worth the trip.  If you missed it, we went to Bob Van Horn’s to see his Museum.
